A year full of challenges – not only from Corona – is drawing to a close. At ProNES it was a year full of intensive development work, new cooperations, and contacts as well as new team members, and a highlight at the Battery Show. The numerous positive reactions have shown us that we are on the right track with the batterieinspektor by ProNES. For us, this is an additional motivation to continue on the chosen path with the same enthusiasm in 2022.
batterieinspektor – Technology
In 2021, we have further optimised the batterieinspektor to ensure quality in battery production from the cell to the final battery. The batterieinspektor integrates market-leading hardware, and software for innovative, automated and digitalised battery testing. In this way, battery manufacturers are already creating the conditions for Smart Battery Manufacturing of tomorrow.
batterieinspektor – Trademark Registration
It’s official: The batterieinspektor has been registered as a trademark at the German Patent and Trademark Office since November 2021. The trademark registration marks an important milestone in the development of our product. With the batterieinspektor, battery manufacturers can put a halt to quality problems in battery production.
Battery Show in Stuttgart – a Meeting Place for Climate Protection in Action
At the Battery Show it was noticeable how beneficial and inspiring personal discussions are for trusting cooperation in battery production. The future can come! And after the Battery Show is before the Battery Show…the next industry meeting in Stuttgart is planned for 28 – 30 June 2022.
Charging Stations – Contribution to Climate Protection at Our Headquarters
Climate protection starts at your own doorstep. This was the motivation for this initiative by ProNES: In cooperation with ESEL CAB GmbH (subsidiary of EnergieSüdwest AG) and Sparkasse Südpfalz, ProNES has set up a charging park with 4 charging points at the company headquarters in Landau. The charging points are part of the regional ESEL.CAB charging network, which now comprises over 100 charging points.
ProCHAIN describes a blockchain platform to which special and production machines, as well as test and inspection stations at the customer’s premises, can be connected. Together with haitecon GmbH from Mainz, ProNES will open up new market access with this development and innovatively expand its portfolio as a service provider.
“New technologies are the key to a dynamic economy and a society striving for progress. The project of ProNES automation GmbH to use artificial intelligence and blockchain technology helps to optimise processes and thus achieve a sustainable use of resources.” (Dr. Volker Wissing)
At ProNES, cooperation and support are not only important within our own ranks. Together with Prof. Dr. Markus Haid, we have been offering our own workshops and training courses since 2021. Participants gain the necessary insight to optimise manufacturing processes and to expand their programming knowledge according to their needs.

Working Group on Labour, Social Affairs, Care and Transformation of the State Government at ProNES
The discussion focused on two of the core topics at ProNES: automated battery production for e-mobility in times of IoT and I4.0, and new digital business models. After 2 hours of lively discussion on burning digitalisation issues, the participants agreed to continue this inspiring exchange in the future.
In 2021, we welcomed many new employees in our team:
Sales: Christian Wahl
Product & Project Development: Nick Berezowski, Ingo Lochmar, Klaus Breuer
Administration & Finance: Lars Hütter
Apprentice: Max Scherer
Numerous people already achieve outstanding accomplishments at a young age. The Deutschlandstipendium aims to specifically encourage them to do so and to strengthen their decision to pursue challenging university studies. The scholarship gives them room for commitment and personal development alongside their studies. ProNES participated in the Deutschlandstipendium again in 2021, as it fits 100% with ProNES’ ideas on promoting young talent.

Donations for Children and Young People
As every year, we do without Christmas presents for our customers and business partners. Instead, we support social projects for children and young people. Our Christmas donation this year will go to the Children’s and Youth Farm in Landau (Kinder- und Jugendfarm in Landau) as well as to children in Rhineland-Palatinate affected by the flood disaster as part of SWR’s Herzenssache (Herzenssache des SWR ).
Our Jubilee Year May Come!
After a successful 2021, we are looking forward to our 20th anniversary. Let us once again work together to master the challenges ahead and celebrate our successes.
First of all, however, we wish all our customers, business partners and companions a peaceful Christmas and a good start to the New Year!
