„ProNES vividly shows how important small and medium-sized enterprises are for Rhineland-Palatinate as a business location. It is impressive that new technologies such as blockchain or AI are being used here to optimise processes,“ concludes Mrs Kathrin Anklam-Trapp, spokesperson of the Labour, Social Affairs, Care and Transformation Working Group of the state government, after the visit of the group to ProNES.

The meeting at the beginning of the week on 6 September was aimed at getting a picture of the contribution innovative SMEs make to the technological progress in Rhineland-Palatinate.

Two of the core topics at ProNES developed as focal points of the discussion: automated battery production for e-vehicles in times of IoT and I4.0 as well as new digital business models. After two hours of lively discussion on the burning issues in the field of digitalisation, the participants agreed to continue this inspiring exchange of ideas in the future.
