The Control 2018 in Stuttgart from 24 to the 27 April in Stuttgart experienced a premiere. ProNES and FARO presented the first result of their cooperation: PIQ.3D-gate or Quality Gate. The lively interest of customers and business partners is the best proof of the potential of this future-oriented all-in-one solution.
The PIQ.3D-gate is used for quality inspection of complex assemblies or end products. The core of the new product development is the precise matching of the assemblies and end products with the CAD design data.
The fully automatic inline inspection system PIQ.3D-gate allows non-contact quality assurance. At the same time, the optional trend analysis of the recorded result data provides the necessary data to proactively intervene in tolerance-critical manufacturing processes.
Depending on the transport system for the test specimens, the all-in-one solution can be integrated in two variants at different positions in different production chains: stand-alone variant and fully automatic measuring cell.
